Abhishek won’t stop at comedy
Abhishek Bachchan is basking in the glory of his newfound success. Not only are the critics and masses raving about his performance in Bol Bachchan, the film is also making big money at the box office.
“A hit film is like a cherry on the cake,” enthuses Junior B. He continues, “Every actor works very hard on his films and the appreciation he gets for his hard work is the extra push people like us require.” Even though Abhishek has found success in the comedy genre, he hasn’t thought of building a certain image for himself. “Why restrict yourself to just comedy? I’d want to explore other genres as well,” he says. His family too is happy with the stupendous response his film is getting from all corners.
One wonders if his comeback success will prompt wife Aishwarya to consider returning to films. To which, Abhi replies, “As a family, we do consult each other before taking any decision, but the final decision is taken by the individual. So it is totally Aishwarya’s call on when she wants to make a comeback. We’ll all respect that.” Right now, Abhishek is focussed on how to make the most of this success. Rumours suggest that he is being offered a handful of interesting projects but the actor chooses to remain tight-lipped about his future ventures. For all you know, he could be having another ace up his sleeve.

Abhishek, Aishwarya get ears Pierced along with Aaradhya
Whenn Aaradhya Bachchan completed six months in June, her parents Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai decided to have her ears pierced. But the loving parents, sensitive to their baby’s pain, decided to get their ears pierced along with her — AB Jr for the first time, and Ash for the second!
Says a source close to Aishwarya, “Last week, Ash decided to get Aaradhya’s ears pierced. Abhishek too has been wanting to get it done. He adores his baby girl and couldn’t bear to see her in pain, so he decided to go for it along with her. Ash also wanted to do it again, so she joined them. It ended up becoming a family event, with the trio making the trip to the hospital together, where they got their ears pierced via a dart gun!”
Ash’s mother Vrinda Rai organised the whole thing for them with a family doctor. After they got home, the father and daughter were seen hugging each other for a long time.
Adds the source, “Though Abhishek doesn’t have a tattoo like his good friends Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, he’s happy with his pierced ears. While Aaradhya and Abhishek are now wearing gold studs in their ears, Ash has been sporting diamond studs in hers.”
